Remember a day, just you and your horse, the best of friends, riding in a rhythm that captures memories. The years you spent dreaming of owning a horse some day - the barn, the saddle, the bridle - every detail you've fondly imagined. The seasons you've spent together ever since - Winters, Falls, Springs, and Summers alike, those moments have been priceless to you. Horsemanship Journal is a community established by Ginger and Josh Bevan in July 2007 and built around a love of horses.

Even as a little girl, Ginger loved horses. Ginger remembers, "My father use to take me on Saturday morning rides in the car so that I could stand at the fences of horse owners in our small community and wish I too could have a horse." Forty-Five years later, she is the proud owner of a QH Palomino, Cheeser. "We're the perfect match. He's kind and gentle and I'm eager to learn."

Ginger is a dedicated natural horsemanship student and studies Parelli programs. With the idea in mind of wanting to share her experiences in horsemanship, for Ginger's birthday her husband, Josh canvassed what is now Horsemanship Journal. Josh says, "My wife and I are big animal lovers, and she is very much into natural horsemanship. For years she had asked me to create a site for her so she can post her Parelli training journal. I finally did and surprised her for her birthday this year with the new site. All her friends pitched in to help and give me feedback on the look and feel. It was a great surprise!"

Horsemanship Journal represents many hours of work, an array of opinions, and a mutual love for horses. "We have extensive plans to make it a destination for women who love horses, and I hope all who use it enjoy their experiences there," Ginger.
